Emily&Matt | Durham, NC Wedding Photography
The concepts for Emily and Matt's wedding were beautifully executed by the other vendors.. Mitchell's Catering and GetLit Events and North Raleigh Florist.
Many of the details were handcrafted by Emily and her mom. The centerpieces for some tables featured lamps made with pilsner glasses, shades and LED lights! Cool idea! The cake's topper was an eddible yummy replicated from Emily's invitation silhouette. The talented musicians of Adrian Duke Projek rocked it out.. and it was smiles all night!
First sight happiness!
clutches make a unique touch for bridesmaids, elegant and practical. The pearl bands on the wrist corsages repeated Emily's pearls and were so sweet.Silhouette of the kissing couple.
I cannot say how much I appreciate.. nay, adore! uplighting. Event lighting specialists set the mood.. I left my flash to the wayside for the majority of the day. How else to show off the exact spot placement, such as here, for the aisle made from light? Way cool! (and more pearl-centric in my mind. I love seeing shapes used again, and again..) the moment between the kiss was something Emily's mother shared she liked best.. moreso than the kiss itself. I was sure to capture both.. my favorite, too! The anticipation and joy in the couples faces is most evident when they are slightly apart... more personal touches behind the bar! Emily and Matt love handblow glass, so why not decorate with items that will suit your home? Love it!maybe I should not say...many of Emily and Matt's friends were Carolina ballet dancers! I think their hard work shows in their genuine fun on a dance floor.
weddings bring out the romance in everyone.. so lovelyself portrait with Emily!
